IQRA VOCAB · Last updated: 23 October 2026

IQRA VOCAB (“the app”) is a free vocabulary-learning website at https://iqravocab.pages.dev. This page explains what information the app uses and why.

1. If you do not sign in

Your learning progress (words studied, scores, streaks, settings, favourites and notes) is saved only on your own device, in your browser’s storage. It is not sent to us.

2. If you choose “Sign in with Google”

Signing in is optional. It lets you keep your progress safe and use it on other devices. When you sign in, the app receives from Google:

Your learning progress is then stored in the app’s cloud database (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore) under your account ID. Only you can read or change your own data through the app.

3. How we use information

We do not sell your information, do not show advertising, and do not share your information with anyone, except the service providers below that run the app.

4. Service providers

5. Keeping and deleting your data

Your cloud data is kept until you ask us to delete it. To delete it, email us at the address below from your Google account email, and we will delete your cloud data. You can also tap Sign out in the app at any time, which stops syncing on that device. Clearing your browser’s site data removes the progress stored on that device.

6. Children

The app is for learners of all ages, but children under 13 should use it with a parent or guardian, and should only sign in with a parent’s permission.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
